Characteristics of a Thoroughbred Woman
When I think of this kind of woman, I think of the many Thoroughbred women in my life—women in different seasons, vocations, and callings, yet unmistakably similar in spirit. Over the years, I asked several of these women how they would describe a Thoroughbred Woman. Their responses were remarkably consistent:

- Competitive—not for attention, but for excellence.
- Built to run a race.
- Independent, yet deeply chasing after God.
- Women who struggle to sit still—often awake in the early hours with ideas about how to change the world.
- Passionate, curious pioneers and forerunners.
- Women unwilling to give away their God-given strength.
